What payment methods are provided?

We offer most of the popular payment methods, including most credit and debit card payment options, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay.

We also offer a payment plan to finance your watch by paying in installments through one of our payment partners, Klarna.

Are there any payment plans available?

Yes. We provide a payment plan through 'Klarna - Slice it.' This allows customers to pay in three equal installments with 30 days in between. Own your watch now, pay later.

When will my payment be collected?

Your payment is collected at checkout.

If you use our 'Klarna - Slice it.' payment plan, your first out of three payments is collected at checkout. The remaining two payments are collected with 30 days in between.

Shipping and Returns

Where do you ship from?

All orders ship from the Netherlands and arrive within 1–3 business days. Single-watch orders are sent as mailbox packages, so you don’t need to stay home, because your order slips straight through your letterbox.

How soon is my order dispatched?

Orders are shipped within 1 to 3 business days.

Do I have to stay home to receive my order?

No, our packaging is designed to fit through your mailbox. You don't have to stay home to receive your SANTA NOVA order.

However, if you order more than one watch, we may have to ship it as a regular package.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Shipping on all orders is completely on us.

Is my order shipped with insurance?

Yes. All orders are shipped with insurance, using the most reliable and renowned couriers.

Can I track my order?

Yes, of course! You can track your order on your personal tracking page, provided to you the moment your order has shipped.

How long does shipping usually take?

Shipping time depends on where you live. Below are the estimated shipping times per region.

Netherlands: Next day delivery
Europe: ~1 to 3 business days
North America: ~1 to 3 business days

Rest of the world: ~14 business days

All shipments are shipped with insurance using the most trusted international shipping companies.

What is your return policy?

We have a 14-day return policy. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. The shipping cost of returning your item(s) is to be paid by the customer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

How can I return my watch?

We have a 14-day return policy. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@portahl.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Sweelinckstraat 18C, 3581RW, Utrecht, The Netherlands. If your return is accepted, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from our home country of The Netherlands, using the world's most trusted couriers to ship safely to your destination.

My order is a gift. Can you remove the invoice from the package?

There is no invoice in your package. All of our packages are shipped paperless. All order information is available in your order confirmation email, and any additional information on request.

Can you ship my order to a PO box?

Yes! All of our package are mailbox friendly and can be shipped to a PO box.

Our Watches

Are SANTA NOVA watches water-resistant?

Yes. All of our watches are 3 ATM water resistant. They're safe for showering, washing your hands, and splashes of water. Plus, they're tarnish free, so they won't discolor or rust.

Will my SANTA NOVA watch discolor or tarnish?

No. All of our watches are tarnish-free, which means they will not rust or discolor and can be cleaned easily.

What is the average battery life of SANTA NOVA watches?

Our watches use reliable MIYOTA quartz movements powered by long-lasting silver oxide batteries, with an average battery life of about 3 years. To make sure you enjoy the full lifespan, we store and ship every watch in a non-running state. Simply remove the small protective tab when it arrives, and your watch will start ticking right away.

Can I swim or dive with my watch?

No. 3 ATM water resistance means the watch is not suited for swimming or diving, but it is suited for showering or washing your hands.

Can I change the bracelet on my SANTA NOVA watch?

Yes, however we currently don't offer other bracelet options. We will add more bracelet options in the future.

Nous fits any 14 mm watch bracelet, if you already have a watch bracelet in that size, or would like to purchase one elsewhere.

Will you offer more bracelet options in the future?

Yes. We plan to add more bracelet options in the future.

What is the case size of the 'NOUS' watch?

Since our cases don't have a standard round shape, our case size is between 29.5 and 33 mm. From point to point the NOUS case measures 33 mm, and from flat side to flat side 29.5 mm.

What is the bracelet size of the 'NOUS' watch?

The bracelet size for the 'NOUS' watch is 14 mm.

What materials are the 'NOUS' watches made of?

The base material for our watches is stainless steel. It offers best in class tarnish resistance. Our watches are IP-plated (metal coated) in different colors, like gold and silver, and finishes, like matte and polished.

Are you designing and manufacturing your watches yourselves?

Yes! All of our watches are designed and manufactured by us here at SANTA NOVA®. We do NOT use dropshipping or whitelabel watch designs like many other watch brands.

Are your watches reliable? What kind of watch movement is inside?

Yes, all of our watches are powered by MIYOTA quartz movements. MIYOTA is a world-renowned Japanese movement manufacturer with 85+ years of proven trackrecord in manufacturing watch movements for trusted watch brands worldwide. You can't go wrong with MIYOTA.

Warranty

What are the terms and conditions of SANTA NOVA's warranty?

Santa Nova offers a 2-year international warranty on our watches, meaning we will repair or replace your SANTA NOVA watch within 2 years of delivery in the case it suffers any manufacturing or assembly defects that prevent reasonable function of the watch.

The warranty does not cover any damages resulting from misuse or that constitute as regular wear and tear. This includes, but is not limited to, scratches, dents, cracks, chips or any other cosmetic damages.

Before servicing the watch we will conduct a research to the cause of the problem. If it is determined that the defect is the cause of impact, misuse, or opening of the caseback outside an authorized repair, the warranty will be considered null and void.

Which costs are involved with returning and servicing my watch under the warranty?

The cost of shipping the watch to us is to be paid by the customer.

Once the watch is received, the cost of servicing the watch as well as shipping the watch back to the customer are covered under the warranty at no extra cost.

How long does SANTA NOVA offer warranty?

Our customers are protected against factory defects for the duration of two years under our international warranty.

My watch is scratched. Can I make a claim under my warranty?

No. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, or any cosmetic damage such as scratches or marks to the finish, which under the conditions of the warranty constitute regular wear and tear.

How do I know if my warranty is still valid?

SANTA NOVA offers a 2-year international warranty, valid from the day you received your watch until the end of its 2-year validity.

Opening of the caseback outside of an authorized repair will render the warranty null and void. In the unlikely event that your Peacemaker suffers from a mechanical defect, please contact us immediately and we will offer you a fitting solution as long as your watch meets the terms and conditions of our warranty.
