When we created Nous, we already knew we weren't just designing a watch. We were laying the foundation of our brand. A staple watch we can build future collections on top of.

Our story starts in Amsterdam, where the idea for Nous originated and the design you see today slowly came to life.
Redefining women's watch design
Let's address the elephant in the room. Most women’s watches today look… familiar. Copy and pastes of highly sought after top-segment luxury brands. It was getting a little old.
That's why we started SANTA NOVA. We saw an opportunity, not to follow, but to redefine. To lead women's watch design in a new direction.
It’s part of our design philosophy to reject imitation. We don't dropship, we don't white label, we make original watch designs by designing and manufacturing our watches in-house.
Nous comes in a 30 mm case, which is a common case size, but you may have noticed the uncommon shape.
We chose the hexagon as our brand shape, a form that radiates strength, symmetry, and intelligence. Aside from some vintage Piaget watches from the 1970s, the hexagon shape has been largely forgotten. Today we are bringing it back.
While many affordable brands copy icons like Cartier or Rolex, we made the conscious decision to build our own identity. A new staple for women who pioneer, not follow. The hexagonal shape of the Nous watch reflects that perfectly.
How textures create a sense of quiet luxury
The case and bracelet of Nous are mostly matte, lightly inspired by the soft texture on the back of titanium iPhones.
Then, to complement the matte base, we added subtle polished accents that catch enough light to be noticed.
That's how we achieve this sense of quiet luxury, because against the sandblasted base, the otherwise subtle polished details get that much more attention.
The bracelet measures 14 mm, tapering down to 12 mm, creating a silhouette that feels cute, feminine, and subtle on the wrist.

Each watch in the first Nous collection helps in balancing out the collection, by speaking to a different type of woman.
• The Gold Standard (The Staple): A wardrobe essential. It goes with anything and goes with you anywhere.
• Silver Lining (The Duotone): For those who just don't want to choose between silver and gold. A perfect blend for a girl with a stacked jewelry box.
• The Golden Hour (The Maximalist): 18K gold-plated, sunburst dial in a full gold finish. This one is for the maximalist woman who radiates unapologetic confidence.
• The Onyx Amulet (The Mystic): Featuring a genuine onyx gemstone dial, for the woman who is in tune with herself, nature, and the universe. A timepiece that feels alive.
